一, Installation
2.1 Installation inside the fuel tank
◆The axial piston pump is installed inside the oil tank, below the minimum oil level of the tank. The axial piston pump is completely under the hydraulic fluid.
◆It is recommended to install a suction pipe at the suction port S, and a drain pipe at the discharge ports T1, T2, or R. At the same time, other drain ports must be blocked. The front axial piston pump must be filled with hydraulic oil when installing the pipeline, and the oil tank must also be filled with hydraulic oil.
◆When the minimum oil level is equal to or higher than the flange area of the pump installation: the oil ports "T1", "T2", and "R" are opened (see Figure 2).

◆The oil suction port S does not need to be connected to a pipeline. If space allows, it is recommended to connect an oil suction pipe.
◆When the axial piston pump has electrical components, it cannot be installed below the internal oil level of the oil tank.
◆To prevent damage to the axial piston pump, all plastic components must be removed before installation in the fuel tank.
2.2 Installation on the upper part of the fuel tank
◆The axial piston pump is installed above the outside of the fuel tank, above the minimum oil level of the tank.
◆The allowable oil suction height hs is related to the total pressure loss, and the oil suction height hSmax is ≤ 800mm; Depth of submergence of oil suction pipe ht min ≥ 200mm, as shown in Figure 3.
◆Equipped with pressure control, displacement limiter, HD and EP control devices, the minimum displacement setting must be Vg ≥ 5% Vg max.
◆If low-noise operation is required, the pump should be avoided from being placed on top of the fuel tank.
◆Air accumulation near the bearing area can damage the axial piston pump.
◆Confirm that the oil suction pipeline is always filled with hydraulic oil during debugging and operation.

Condition: The minimum pressure (suction pressure) of the pump must be ensured to be 0.8 bar.
2.3 Installation at the bottom of the fuel tank
◆The lower part of the fuel tank is installed, and the axial piston pump is installed outside the fuel tank below the minimum oil level.
◆If located at the bottom of the fuel tank, T1, T2, and S ports must be connected by pipelines, as shown in Figure 4.
◆During the initial start-up and operation of the pump, the interior of the pump casing must be filled with hydraulic oil. The start-up must be carried out under low-speed and no-load conditions until all air is expelled from the system.
◆After the pump is shut down for a long time, the hydraulic oil in the pump housing may leak out through the working pipeline. When restarting, it is necessary to ensure that the inside of the pump housing is filled with hydraulic oil.
◆The oil leakage in the pump housing must be discharged to the oil tank through the highest position oil leakage port on the housing. No one-way valve is allowed to be installed on the pipeline and the pipe diameter must not be reduced.
