The pilot valve is an auxiliary valve used to manipulate the control mechanism in other valves or components. It has the characteristics of relatively small input signal and can accept multiple input methods.
1. Form a pilot control liquid bridge with a fixed liquid resistance, and control the main valve or secondary valve or variable lever according to the input signal;
2. The flow rate of the first-stage pilot valve is generally only about 1 liter/min, and the maximum is 3 liters/min. The flow rate of the secondary pilot valve must be determined according to actual needs.
3. The input signals are relatively small;
4. Can accept a variety of input methods, such as manual, electric, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical cam, electric proportional, etc.;
5. In situations such as variable pump control, a variety of pilot valves form a modular structure, making it easy to choose between multiple functions;
6. The pilot valve itself is often a small-sized control valve, mostly a pressure control valve.
