Working Principle
The transmission shaft 8 of the Parker axial piston pump is driven by keyways to rotate the cylinder block 6. Plungers 5 (seven in total) are evenly mounted on the cylinder block. The plunger heads are equipped with shoes 4, which are ball-hinged to the plungers, allowing free rotation. Springs, steel balls, and plates 3 press the shoes against the swash plate 2. This arrangement enables the plungers to move back and forth within the cylinder block as it rotates, completing the oil suction and pressurization process. The distributor plate 7 is connected to the pump's inlet and outlet and is fixed on the pump body. Additionally, there is an oil chamber where the shoe contacts the swash plate. Pressurized oil enters the oil chamber through small holes in the plungers, creating an oil film between the shoe and the swash plate, providing hydrostatic support and reducing wear.
