Q1: Can an AZMF gear motor be used as a hydraulic pump?
Generally, no. While external gear motors and external gear pumps look identical from the outside and share a similar internal design, motors feature specific internal drainage channels and seals designed to handle return-line pressure. Running a standard pump as a motor, or vice versa, can blow out the shaft seals or damage the internal bearings. Always use the component for its designated purpose.
Q2: What is the difference between clockwise (R), counter-clockwise (L), and reversible (U) rotations?
Clockwise (R) / Counter-clockwise (L): These motors are optimized to spin in only one direction. They have a designated high-pressure inlet and a low-pressure outlet.
